Ismael Saibari continued to make his mark at Bayern Munich on Sunday, providing an assist in the German champions’ 2-1 Bundesliga victory over Elversberg.

The Moroccan midfielder was handed another start by Vincent Kompany and played a key role in Bayern’s opening goal in the 26th minute.

Saibari Creates the Opener

Saibari showed his quality on the left, driving into the penalty area before sending a dangerous low ball across the face of goal.

The delivery found Lennart Karl at the far post, with the Bayern youngster making no mistake with a left-footed finish to put the visitors ahead.

It was Saibari’s third Bundesliga assist of the season, placing him joint-top of the league’s assist charts after the opening three matchdays, according to the competition’s official live data.

The Moroccan remained a constant attacking threat and came close to adding a goal of his own, first heading wide before curling another effort narrowly past the post.

Bayern Respond to Elversberg’s Challenge

Elversberg came out strongly after the break and found an equalizer in the 61st minute.

Maurice Krattenmacher created space outside the penalty area before curling an excellent finish beyond Jonas Urbig, with Noah Darvich providing the assist.

Saibari’s afternoon came to an end just four minutes later when Kompany made a four-player substitution, bringing Luis Díaz onto the pitch.

Kane Delivers the Winner

Bayern regained their advantage in the 72nd minute through Harry Kane.

Aleksandar Pavlović found the England captain inside the penalty area, and Kane created enough room before firing into the top corner.

The goal marked his 150th in 153 competitive appearances for Bayern Munich, another remarkable milestone in his extraordinary spell in Germany.

Despite late pressure from the hosts, Bayern held on to secure all three points and bring Elversberg’s perfect start to an end after victories over Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Saibari’s Bright Start Continues

Bayern now sit on seven points from their opening three Bundesliga matches, having beaten Stuttgart 5-1, drawn 0-0 with Schalke and defeated Elversberg.

For Saibari, the latest assist adds another memorable chapter to an encouraging beginning in Germany following his summer move from PSV Eindhoven.

With his creativity, confidence and growing influence already shining through, Saibari is beginning to write his own story in the Bayern red, and Moroccan football is watching with pride.
