Cookies & Tracking

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) used on atlaslions.com, why we use them, and how you can change your choices at any time.

Your choices

You can change which cookie categories you allow at any time.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store. We also use technologies that work like cookies — browser local storage and tracking pixels — which this policy covers.

The categories we use

  • Strictly necessary— the site can’t work without these (session, consent record, fraud protection on checkout). Always on.
  • Analytics — aggregate measurement of how the site is used. We default to Vercel Web Analytics which is cookieless; Google Analytics is only enabled with your consent.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense and direct sponsor reporting. Only set with your consent.
  • Personalisation — remembers preferences like the match-ticker dismissal. Local-storage only, no third-party tracking.

Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google’s Consent Mode v2 to signal your choices to any Google service before it loads. By default, advertising and analytics signals are denied; they are only re-enabled if you opt in via the cookie banner or the “Manage cookies” control above.

Browser-level controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site (sign-in and checkout). For more on managing cookies in your browser, see your browser’s help pages.

Do Not Track & GPC

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When GPC is on, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies for your session.
