Feyenoord continued their strong start to the Dutch Eredivisie season with a deserved 3–1 victory away to NEC Nijmegen on Matchday 5.
Moroccan international Oussama Targhalline was handed another starting role, making his second start in four appearances for the Dutch giants.
Targhalline Continues to Grow
Operating in midfield, Targhalline produced another solid performance, helping Feyenoord control the game and maintain their rhythm in the middle of the pitch.
The Moroccan midfielder was eventually replaced in the 85th minute, having contributed positively throughout his time on the field.
He was awarded a 6.8 rating for his performance and also received a yellow card after a challenge on an opposing player.
Targhalline has now registered one assist across his four appearances this season, with his role continuing to grow within Feyenoord’s squad.
Feyenoord Climb to Second
The victory strengthens Feyenoord’s position near the top of the Eredivisie table.
With 11 points from their opening five matches, Feyenoord currently sit second in the standings, continuing their push for another ambitious campaign.
For Targhalline, meanwhile, the season is beginning to take shape, and another start provides yet another opportunity for the Moroccan international to establish himself on the European stage.
