Another Moroccan talent has taken a major step forward in European football.

PSV Eindhoven have officially announced the signing of Moroccan forward Sami Ouaissa from NEC Nijmegen, with the 21-year-old committing his future to the Dutch champions until the summer of 2031.

The move represents a significant milestone in Ouaissa's growing career and opens the door to a new challenge at one of the Netherlands' biggest clubs.

A New Chapter in Eindhoven

Ouaissa arrives at PSV after two impressive seasons with NEC, where he established himself as an important part of the team's attacking setup.

According to reports from Voetbal International, the transfer fee is believed to be around €9 million, making Ouaissa the second player to move from NEC to PSV this summer after Japanese midfielder Kodai Sano.

The long-term contract underlines the confidence PSV have placed in the Moroccan forward and his potential to develop further at the highest level.

From Roda to NEC, Now PSV

Born in 2004, Ouaissa began his professional journey with Roda JC Kerkrade before joining NEC in 2024.

He quickly made his mark in Nijmegen, making 76 appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing nine assists across his time with the club.

Those performances helped establish him as one of NEC's standout attacking players and ultimately earned him his move to the reigning Dutch champions.

Champions League Opportunity Awaits

The transfer also offers Ouaissa an exciting opportunity to experience football at the highest European level.

With PSV competing in the UEFA Champions League, the Moroccan forward now has the chance to test himself against Europe's elite after narrowly missing out on reaching the competition's league phase with NEC.

For a young player continuing to build his career, the Eindhoven move could provide the perfect platform for another major leap forward.

Another Moroccan Rising in Europe

Ouaissa's arrival at PSV adds another name to the growing list of Moroccan talents making their mark across Europe's biggest leagues.

Now wearing the colors of the Dutch champions, the 21-year-old enters a new chapter with bigger stages, greater challenges, and the opportunity to continue carrying Moroccan football's rising generation forward.

A new club, a seven-year contract, and the Champions League on the horizon, Sami Ouaissa's next adventure in Eindhoven has officially begun.
