Morocco have completed their preparations for Sunday’s friendly against Mali, holding their final training session at the Grand Stade de Tanger in a positive atmosphere.

The session brought the final stage of preparations to a close, with the coaching staff focusing on the technical and tactical details ahead of the encounter.

Final Details Take Shape in Tangier

The Atlas Lions trained at the match venue as Mohamed Ouahbi and his staff worked on the final elements of their game plan.

The session focused primarily on technical and tactical work, with the players going through specific details related to the upcoming fixture.

The mood inside the camp remained positive, with strong energy and enthusiasm visible among the group as the team prepares for its final match of the international window.

One Absence From the Squad

Almost the entire group took part in the final session, with Noussair Mazraoui the only absentee.

The defender has already left the national team camp and returned to his club after sustaining an injury during the victory over Lesotho.

His absence leaves Ouahbi with one fewer option for Sunday's friendly, while the rest of the squad remains available for selection.

A Match at a Perfectly Prepared Venue

The Grand Stade de Tanger was also looking in excellent condition ahead of the encounter, providing the Atlas Lions with suitable surroundings for their final preparations.

With the pitch ready and the squad having completed its tactical work, the team can now turn its full attention to matchday.

Another Opportunity for Ouahbi

The friendly against Mali comes after Morocco opened their AFCON 2027 qualifying campaign with two consecutive victories, defeating Gabon and Lesotho by identical 2–0 scorelines.

Sunday's match will therefore offer another opportunity to assess the squad, test different combinations and continue preparing for the challenges ahead.

The Atlas Lions will now wait for kickoff in Tangier, with the final preparations complete and the squad ready for another international test.
