Gabon head coach Sébastien Migné acknowledged the quality of Morocco’s performance after his side suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Atlas Lions in the opening round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Speaking after the match, the Gabonese coach said Morocco’s performance was largely in line with what his team had anticipated, while highlighting the technical level and tactical clarity displayed by the hosts in Rabat.
Morocco’s Level Came as No Surprise
Migné said he was not surprised by either Morocco’s quality or their approach to the game.
