A New Moroccan Record

Morocco surpassed its previous best total of 33 medals, achieved at the Oran 2022 Mediterranean Games, while also setting a new national record for gold medals.
The 16 gold medals won in Taranto comfortably exceeded the previous record of 10 golds, secured at Tarragona 2018.
It is now Morocco's strongest Mediterranean Games campaign ever in both total medals and gold medals.
